That time of year has come, the end of the year in fact. 2013 was quite a year here at ThisFloridaLife. In case you missed any of the greatest moments I am counting down my Top 3 Posts over the next three days. Since much of the country is in the throws of Winter, let’s start off with my Top 3 posts about The Beach.
3. A Quiet Morning in Key West: It was a trip born out of pure spontaneity. Quick, rushed, and went by way too fast, but our two night stay in Key West, FL was just what we needed. We had to make the most of every minute. Key West can actually be overwhelming, especially if you stay near Duval Street. But, there are plenty of beautiful, quiet moments, if you make time for them. 2. Exploring Florida’s Beachside Beauty with East Coast Paddle: It was my first time doing stand up paddle boarding and I loved it. East Coast Paddle offers the best experience by far and in the beautiful setting of the New Smyrna Beach area. 1. Our Drive from Orlando to Key West: They say life is about the journey not the destination. Though Key West is one heck of a destination, I do have to say that our 8 hour drive from Orlando was actually pretty darn fun. Take the Journey to the End of the Road: Our Drive from Orlando to Key West.
