It’s almost time. Every Disney fan is on pins and needles as it draws near. Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival is by far the most popular special event on Walt Disney World property. As a local, this event takes over my social calendar. Seriously, for the next month and a half I will make more visits to Epcot than I make to the grocery store. There are countless articles, blog posts, and the like to share tips and reviews of this popular Fall event. My goal is not to recreate these articles, instead I have one simple goal: to share the most important thing to do at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival.
TRY NEW THINGS

There that’s it, thanks for reading and have a good [morning / day / night]. Ok, but in all seriousness, it is as simple as that: try new things! Now, I am a little biased because I never had the patience, and in some cases, money to do all the special seminars, demonstrations, etc. The biggest draw for me has always been the twenty or so booths that are dotted throughout World Showcase.
This is your chance to explore, be adventurous. Don’t play it safe. Don’t make lunch or dinner reservations just dine around the world. In a recent post by the Epcot Food and Wine Festival’s Facebook page, it was stated that the escargot at the France booth (obviously) has consistently ranked among the top 10 items sold in the Festival’s 16 year history (this year = 17). I am both surprise and excited. To me this indicated that guests are indeed getting into the adventurous spirit. The great thing is, if you do not like whatever it is that you are trying it only cost you $3 – $6 for a small plate at your booth of choice. This way you can sample new cuisines without having bought an entire entree’. So dig in and expand your Horizons (capitalized on purpose :))
