Florida Life

ThisFloridaLife is back!

It’s been a while and a lot has changed. And it is those changes that have made it realistic for the sun to rise over ThisFloridaLife again. I am happy to write to you, my Florida Lifers, and welcome you back to the place that started my newfound love of being a freelance writer (in my spare time) and inspired me to share my love of Florida with the world.

For those that have been keeping up with my adventures by following ThisFloridaLife on Twitter or Instagram, thanks for keeping in touch. I look forward to having more fun things to share with you. And if you aren’t already following me on Twitter or Instagram, well join the party @thisfloridalife

So what’s changed and why am I ready to get back to ThisFloridaLife.com? The days of me wasting hours of my life traveling on I-4 each day are over. Fortune has smiled on me and I have earned a place with a great company within the hospitality industry that no longer requires such a crazy commute. I am now a proud member of the SunRail community! I love riding the SunRail to work each day (more to follow in an upcoming post).

What can you expect from the new dawn on ThisFloridaLife? While I may not have the opportunity to explore the vast expanse of the state Florida very frequently, when I do venture out, I will be sure to share my adventures here. Most weekends are spent in Orlando’s theme parks so I will continue to share my tips, insights, and perceptive on Orlando’s main attractions.  And any news and events that I think you awesome Florida Lifers would like to know about will be shared too. I do also continue to contribute to other sites like OrlandoInformer and will keep you posted on my latest contributions there too!

Thanks for sticking with me and to any new Florida Lifers, welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy living ThisFloridaLife as much as I do.

P.S. I’ve updated the “About” page – check it out!

  1. I’m so glad you’re back!! The florida Blues hit me often, so I usually end up on your blog to chase them away when I can’t hop on a plane and visit.
