New York City is one of the most exciting cities on the planet. I have always found it interesting that the New York City skyline can be seen from the entrance of an Orlando theme park based on a movie studio in California. However, as one of the last few remaining areas of Universal Studios Florida that is themed after a real city, the New York backlot is a criterion of the park. For my latest Orlando Informer contribution, join me as we take a fascinating look at the treasures that fill its streets…

Nice tour; It’s my favorite section of the park. There is a sign in the corner (Matheny Flower) bearing our family name. We always had fun posing for pictures in front of it.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. That is neat about the sign, one more thing I love about theme parks, everyone has their favorite little detail.
